Mr. Zhang Haitao, Vice Minister State Administration of Radio Film and Television (Sarft) announced industry policies and guidelines this morning at The Beijing Exhibition Center Theater - and I was there.
Started the day by testing traffic jam in Beijing which let me plenty of times to discover the city…
When I finally arrived at the Beijing Exhibition Center Theatre, I discovered a highly crowded place (outside), seems like there were too much people (I found the confirmation that there were too many people by translating the ccbn site).
But fortunately, I was able to enter after picking up the simultaneous translation headset.
I was not on the front seat as you can see. I could have read the speech on both sides of the stage but this didn’t really help… me. Hopefully, there was the simultaneous translation.
I will prepare a summary of the important facts mentioned this morning.
I wanted to attend the afternoon sessions which sounded very promising with Cisco, Ericsson, EnRich DTV and Newauto Video Technology, but there was no more translation which was really a surprise. It would have been nice to announce it on the conference web site, or even better, to keep the simultaneous translation - This is a message to the CCBN organization committee.
